Happy New Year!  As always, the start of the year is a time I reflect on the last 12 months and set some goals for the forthcoming year.

One of the highlights of 2015 professionally was completing the Myers Briggs Type Indicator Step II course in September.  I always love doing some personal development, but this course really did make me think about my own strengths, behaviours and how I need to develop them to drive my business forwards.

MBTI does this – the self-awareness you gain from completing the process never fails to amaze me, and the results (both personal and professional) are limitless.  What I particularly love about MBTI Step II is it’s application with groups – perfect for teams who want to improve their internal/external communication, manage conflict more effectively and make effective decisions.

Going through the Step II process myself also opened my eyes to some of my drivers and helped me to understand why I respond to certain situations in the way that I do.  For example, whilst my natural tendency is to put others first, if something really matters to me then I am happy to be tough with people (you have been warned!)

So, one of my goals for 2016 is to share this fabulous tool with as many people as possible.  And to help with this, until the end of March, I am offering 10% off any group or 1-2-1 Myers Briggs session (both Step II and Step II).  Get in touch for more details either through the website or e-mail jo@jktrainingltd.co.uk

Here’s to a successful and enlightening 2016!
